The Moov Ai Inverter Pool Pump combines adjustable pump output with intelligent flow control, built-in Wi-Fi, programmable operation, and real-time power-consumption monitoring.
Instead of operating at full output whenever circulation is needed, the Moov Ai can be programmed for different demands throughout the day. Run lower output for routine filtration, then increase performance when additional flow is required for heating, cleaning, backwashing, water features, or other pool equipment.

Manual and Automatic Flow Control
Manual-Inverter Mode allows the pump’s operating capacity to be adjusted from 30% to 120%.
In Auto-Inverter Mode, the pump monitors system pressure and automatically adjusts motor speed toward the selected flow rate. This helps maintain more consistent circulation as operating conditions change, including changes in filter resistance.
The MP2AI also includes Moov’s self-learning process, which evaluates system pressure and redefines its achievable flow-control range based on the installed plumbing system.

Choosing the Correct Model
Do not select a replacement pump by horsepower or pool volume alone. The correct model depends on the available voltage, plumbing size, filter, heater, sanitizer, attached spa, solar system, water features, elevation changes, and total plumbing resistance.
The MP15AIDV and MP165AIDV provide dual-voltage flexibility. The MP2AI requires 240V service and provides the highest published flow capacity of the three models.
A pool professional should confirm the required flow and total dynamic head before installation.
Wi-Fi and Scheduling
Built-in Wi-Fi allows the pump to be monitored and controlled remotely through the Moov App. Available controls include operating mode, pump output, flow settings, timers, backwash operation, and real-time power-consumption data.
The onboard controller supports four programmable daily timer periods, allowing different output or flow settings to be assigned throughout the day.
Automation and External Control
The Moov Ai supports external control through configurable digital inputs and RS485 using the Modbus 485 communication protocol.
Compatibility with a particular automation system is not guaranteed solely by the presence of an RS485 connection. Have the installer confirm the required wiring, communication protocol, and available control functions before ordering.
Plumbing and Installation
The manufacturer lists 1.5-inch and 2-inch imperial union options and recommends 2-inch plumbing for optimized performance. The correct union configuration should be confirmed for the selected installation.
The pump must be:
- Installed for a permanently installed pool, hot tub, or spa
- Installed horizontally in a properly ventilated location
- Connected to a GFCI-protected electrical circuit
