Maximum-flow ratings are measured under low-resistance conditions. Actual system flow depends on total dynamic head, pipe size, plumbing length, filter condition, valves, fittings, elevation, and connected pool equipment.
Adjustable Full-Inverter Operation
The InverFLOW Plus allows running capacity to be adjusted from 30% to 100% in 5% increments.
Lower settings can be used for routine circulation, while higher settings may be selected when additional flow is required for heating, cleaning, backwashing, or other pool-system demands.
The pump automatically stores the latest running-capacity setting.
Boost Mode
Boost Mode operates the pump at a preset high capacity for a selected period before returning to its previous operating state.
The factory default is 100% capacity for one hour. The Boost speed and operating time can be adjusted through the controller.
Skimmer Mode
Skimmer Mode periodically increases pump speed to improve surface circulation and help move floating debris toward the pool skimmer.
Available settings include:
- Skimmer cycle
- Skimmer duration
- Skimmer speed
- Active time period
Four Daily Timers
Up to four daily operating schedules can be programmed through the onboard controller.
Each timer can control:
- Start time
- End time
- Running capacity
This allows separate operating periods for filtration, heating, sanitation, cleaning, and other circulation requirements.
Built-In Wi-Fi Control
The InverFLOW Plus includes Wi-Fi connectivity for remote operation through the Madimack app.
App functions include:
- Pump on and off control
- Running-capacity adjustment
- Timer programming
- Backwash operation
- Real-time power display
- Power-consumption information
- Error-code information
- Shared access for additional users
The pump requires a compatible 2.4 GHz or combined 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi network with adequate signal strength at the equipment location.
Automatic Self-Priming
Automatic self-priming is enabled by default and begins whenever the pump starts.
The controller monitors the priming process and transitions into normal operation after water is detected. Self-priming can also be adjusted or disabled through the controller settings.
The pump must be filled with water before startup and must never be operated dry.
External Control
The InverFLOW Plus supports:
- Digital inputs
- RS485 communication
- Modbus 485 protocol
Digital inputs can command pump shutdown or preset operating capacities.
When multiple control methods are connected, control priority is:
Digital input → RS485 → onboard control panel
Compatibility with an existing pool-automation system should be confirmed before installation.
Electrical Requirements
- Voltage range: 90–250V
- Frequency: 50/60 Hz
- Dual-voltage operation: 115V or 230V
- Copper conductors required
- GFCI-protected circuit required
- Insulation class: Class F
- Enclosure rating: IP55
- Extension cords are not permitted
Electrical installation, grounding, bonding, circuit protection, conductor sizing, and connection method must follow the pump nameplate, installation manual, and applicable electrical codes.
Installation should be completed by a qualified professional.
Plumbing and Installation
- Pipe connections: 2-inch BSP
- Recommended plumbing size: 2 inches
- Minimum clearance around pump: 6 inches
- Maximum installation height above water: 6 feet
- Recommended maximum salt concentration: 6,000 ppm
- Maximum installation altitude: 3,280 feet
- Water-temperature range: 41°F–122°F
- Ambient-temperature range: -14°F–104°F
Installation requirements include:
- Install the pump close to the pool using short, direct piping
- Install horizontally on a solid, stable base
- Provide adequate drainage and motor ventilation
- Keep the pump away from corrosive products
- Use suction piping equal to or larger than the pump inlet
- Install isolation valves where appropriate
- Keep elbows, valves, and tees at least seven suction-pipe diameters from the inlet
- Do not install a 90-degree elbow directly at the pump inlet or outlet
- Use check valves where required
- Do not install the pump in a poorly ventilated enclosure
- Do not operate the pump without water
The installation manual notes that inlet and outlet unions may be supplied in 1.5-inch or 2-inch imperial configurations. Confirm the included union configuration before installation.
